Picnicking in the Napa Valley

Parks and wineries offer picnic locations throughout the valley. Unless you see an obvious picnic table in a vineyard near a winery's visitor area, avoid the vineyards. Growers don't take kindly to people tromping down the soil or "sampling" grapes.

Fortunately, a number of wineries provide picnic tables. As a courtesy to the winery that provides you with picnic facilities, and for your own enjoyment, we encourage you to purchase a bottle of wine from the winery to go with your lunch. Some of the wineries with picnic areas are:
